Mini session with Jason at Wingra Park. I've known him since before he was born - his parents were in our wedding! Love that we had beautiful weather :)

It finally stopped raining and the temperature dropped, but that didn't stop me from having a great session with Ryan around the Agora Pavilion in Fitchburg! This naturally photogenic senior made this an easy session - just look at those dimples! Good luck with football playoffs, Ryan! Go Regents!

Explored another new-ish area - Wingra Boats and Wingra park with Austin! I had no idea the woods were actually so big. Another soccer connection - so happy and thankful this sport has brought so many players and families together. Good luck with your next adventure, Austin!

Another fun senior - another morning on the Epic campus! I've known this kid and his parents since before we officially met (thank you Halloween trick-or-treating!). Grateful that my son and Cristian were in the same class for 1st grade - and especially because of their shared love of soccer. Enjoy the rest of your senior year!

Found our way to Olin Park, after being redirected due to the Madison Marathon, was actually a blessing in disguise for Owen's session. What a beautiful park with lake views - and downtown Madison in the background. I've known this kid since he was about 3 years old (and been friends with him mom just as long!) - so it was great fun and a blessing to take his senior photos!

Another new location - Owen Park! Fun morning with a kid I know through baseball (and soccer). I was expecting to see someone with sandy blonde hair, who knew I was photographing a James Dean lookalike :) Good luck with volleyball and basketball this season!

New location for me - and what a great one it was for David's session (Holy Wisdom Monastery). He gave me a great outtake real - which made the session even more fun. Such a handsome kid.

So fun photographing this kid that has been friends with my son (and whose mom is one of mine). Aaron truly has an amazing smile - and we found some pretty awesome spots on the Epic Campus during his session.

Beautiful, cool morning at Hoyt Park for Ben's session. Fun walking around through the woods, field and hidden gems in this park. Happy to have an easy-going senior. Go Madison West volleyball!

Mini session with Jacob this past week! Quick 20 minutes - one outfit (or two if you can fit it into your 20 minutes!!). Great session when you are short on time, or just looking for something basic.

Great session at Marshall Park yesterday! Beautiful weather - and a kid who laughed at my instructions and comments - thanks, Ben! I was happy for all the cool spots in the park, and glad Ben was comfortable with me behind the camera :)

Another kid I've known since kindergarten because of soccer! A cooler (but still humid) morning at the UW Aboretum for a great session with Abram. Glad he was okay with mosquitoes and me sending him into their trenches (lol).

We fought the mosquitoes and won! lol I've known this kid since he was 5 years old - what a handsome man he has become. Such a great afternoon capturing Max's smile - so natural and from such a kind soul.

Thankful for my son's club soccer introducing me to this kid and his family. I told his parents I'd get a smile out of him - I definitely got a lot of "Shane smiles" :) Fun time wandering around downtown Oregon - who knew how many cool spots could be found BEHIND the buildings (lol).

So thankful that I was able to photograph this kid this weekend! He and my son have been friends since the first day of kindergarten - amazing to see him go from that kid to the young man he is today.

Fun time on the Epic Campus today with Brandon - super photogenic and a natural in front of the camera. And thankfully the rain held off!

A surprisingly sunny morning downtown with Nick.  Could not believe that the weather turned out so perfect, after a week of rainy predictions.  Photos around the Capital were a must, since Nick's parents met in that building :)
