Decided on an early morning session with Chander to try to beat the heat - good thing, because it was warm at 9am! Thankfully the bugs weren't too bad and the sun and sky were beautiful! Chander learned quickly that some "photographer poses" were not comfortable, but I it worked in my favor as I got a lot of natural smiles (and a few laughs). Good luck in Washington at college, Chander!

Great session with Sam at Marshall Park in Middleton, WI. Lots of amazing images, before some humidity-related technical difficulties. I think Sam was happy the session ended after ~ 45 minutes and assured me we "had the ONE"! lol Gotta love photographing senior guys.

I had an amazing session with Bri (and her mom and brother!). It was fun to see another side of this gymnast (that I've known for 6 years!) and how she has grown into such a beautiful woman (and an even more amazing person). We decided to check out the Pope Farm Conservancy in Middleton - what a beautiful setting!! The flowers were amazing - although we did have a few "bee scares" (lol). I'm so excited to see what she is able to accomplish when she joins a D1 college gymnastics program next year!!
